Exams
The PPL and LAPL syllabus requires a student pilot to study and then pass an exam in nine different subjects. Those subjects are:

Air law

Human performance

Meteorology
-
Communications
-
Navigation
-
Principles of flight
-
Operational procedures
-
Flight planning and performance
-
Aircraft general knowledge
As well as these exams students will be required to pass a practical radiotelephony exam.
In order to take the above exams the CAA require that we check that your knowledge provides you with a good chance of passing. Therefore we will test your knowledge free of charge by conducting mock exams before you take the actual test. Exams can then be taken here at Pagoda. Generally the cost to take a exam here at Pagoda is significantly cheaper than other local flying schools.
